Penn Lyon Homes Corporation showcased a newly introduced component of its Ecohealth
SM Homes Collection, the Rinnai tankless water heater, during the recent National Modular Housing Council's modular home factory tour. The event, which was held October 12–14, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, featured tours of four major factory-built home manufacturers that provide services to the New England area.
With consumer interest growing for green building options at an affordable price, factory-built homes are drawing interest. Through their Ecohealth Homes Collection, Penn Lyon Homes offers consumers healthy homes that are built with sustainable building products and materials that use less energy, water and other natural resources. In addition, Penn Lyon is providing home buyers with several green propane appliances such as the Rinnai tankless water heater as part of its product line.
Penn Lyon Homes president David Reed is enthusiastic about offering Rinnai tankless water heaters. "Rinnai provides an environmentally friendly product, making it a natural fit to our Ecohealth
SM Homes product line. In addition, because they operate on environmentally friendly propane or natural gas, the Rinnai system provides significant operating cost savings when compared to water heaters that are powered by other fuel types."
