For years, propane appliance usage on Martha’s Vineyard has been very strong due to their ability to provide homeowners with high levels of efficiency, reliability, and comfort.
With a significant increase in factory-built home construction on the island coupled with the flexible lifestyle options that propane appliances provide to homeowners, it’s easy to see why the propane industry continues to experience a steady diet of requests for appliances that are powered by the clean burning fuel.
According to John Rancourt, Sr. Vice President, Island Propane Inc., “In recent years, there has been a huge increase in modular home construction on Martha’s Vineyard. And, the majority of these homes are being built with propane appliances in them.”
It’s not just homeowners that prefer propane. Rancourt continues, “For HVAC contractors on the island, propane is the preferred energy source. Simply put, it's the default energy choice."
